Richard M Kipperman, President, is a State and Federal Court receiver, and has filled almost every role in the area of bankruptcy for more than two decades and in over 30,000 cases. He is professionally well-regarded for his unparalleled expertise, resourcefulness and extensive network of advisors.
Kipperman’s early career began in the United States Marine Corps from 1968 to 1971, he attained the rank of Captain, and is a Vietnam veteran. He served as Vice President of Finance for a successful retail clothing chain and as Chief Financial Officer for a heavy foundation contractor.
In his current capacity, he holds appointments as Chapter 7 trustee, Chapter 11 trustee, examiner, post confirmation liquidating agent, liquidation trustee, litigation trustee, responsible natural person, receiver, special master, referee and provisional director, to name only a few. He has been involved in the operations and sale negotiations of many types of businesses, as well as real and personal properties.
Kipperman has been a speaker for various bar associations and conferences, presenting an in-depth understanding of the nuances and complexities of bankruptcy, receivership and Taft-Hartley benefit funds. Kipperman holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accounting from the University of Denver and a Masters of Science in Business Administration from San Diego State University. He has also completed studies at the Wharton School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania and the Harvard School of Law.
